Before ShareDot, users lacked a centralized and efficient platform that could deliver a variety of trending content types without compromising on speed or usability. Most available platforms were either too slow, visually overwhelming, or lacked meaningful organization, leading to high bounce rates and limited user retention. To address this, we focused on three major pain points:

1. Content structure and navigation were overhauled by introducing tag-based filtering, category modules, and a clean card-based UI using MUI, enabling users to quickly find and engage with content relevant to their interests.

2. Performance issues were resolved by implementing server-side pagination, MongoDB indexing strategies, and lazy loading in React, significantly improving page load speeds and interaction smoothness.

3. Reliability and scalability were ensured by deploying stateless backend APIs with monitoring tools and error tracking, allowing the platform to serve a growing user base without downtime or lags.

These improvements collectively transformed ShareDot into a stable, fast, and intuitive platform, providing users with an uninterrupted and focused content discovery experience while maintaining a clean and modern design.
